Here is information for us to reflect how we did in the previous module and how we could prepare our Assignment 3.

Assignment 1: Introduction & Literature Review

Readers & Author: In my comments, you may see I referred to "the readers." It means journal readers while "the author" is referred to you. I focused my review from the perspective of a journal manuscript reviewer so you will have a better understanding of what journal manuscript reviewers are looking for.  In addition, I do provide some constructive feedback to help you to improve.

 

Real-world Submission: It is great to know several of you plan to submit your class papers for conference proposals and/or journal manuscripts.  Excellent to know you are preparing for your career.

 

Assignment 3:

Q: Should I create a new Google Docs for Assignment 3 or use the existing one?

A: It is better, not required, to use a new Google Docs for Assignment 3 and 5 so we can preserve our writing. When preparing Assignment 7: Article (Final Paper), we can assemble all sections into one new Google Docs.

 

Q: I don't have data for my manuscript. What should I do for method/Results/Discussion sections?

A: If you don't data for your manuscript.  You can conduct a systematic literature review which is not the same as regular literature review for a research. Check the feedback and the resources that I shared with you in the Google Docs. Follow the requirements of a systematic literature view to complete the Assignment 3.
